2010 Season Information:

Ojai Roadrunners Track Club is open to children of all abilities.

Boys and girls 7 to 15 compete separately in 5 different age groups.

Ojai competes against 8 other teams from Ventura County.

Track meets are held every Saturday from March 20th to June 5th.

Parents are required to help out at week-day practices, or Saturday home meets.

General Information:

The Ojai Roadrunners would like to welcome you and your child to four months of fun and personal growth.
We expect the club to increase in popularity again this year, as more families discover the uniquely positive experiences that an individual sport like track can provide.

We will limit the size of the team to around 130 to ensure that our program continues to provide an excellent
experience for all.  To secure a place on the team, we urge you to sign up early.

The last day to register will be March 1st.  You'll need to have all the following submitted by then.

1) A completed and signed 2010 registration form.

2) A copy of each child's birth certificate.

3) A completed volunteer form with days you can help out.

4) Payment of $75 for the first child and $65 for each additional child from same family.
   In addition, a $25.00 new uniform charge will be required for those who need them
   We also sell optional warm-up suits, sweatshirts, tee shirts, and baseball caps.

5) An additional check for $75.00 will be collected as a volunteer deposit. This check
   will be held, without being cashed and returned at the end of the season if a family
   fulfills its volunteer responsibilities *

Any registration packet that does not contain all five items above will be considered incomplete
and will not guarantee a place on the team for the athlete if the team fills up.

 * Like other teams in our league, we will be collecting a refundable volunteer deposit of $75.00 per family.
    Parents are required to work 3-4 hours at each of our 4 home meets (depending on the size of the meet).
 * A family can also opt to fill one of the our administrative positions.    Upon completion of the season,
    your deposit will be returned if you have fulfilled your volunteer obligations.
 * Please know that we don't need your deposit as much as we need your help in making our meets run smoothly.
 * Scholarships are available with added volunteer duties.
 * The first practice is Monday, February 22th at 5:00pm.
